P&E AUTOMATION awarded prime contract by ATK Thiokol SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 2003--
P&E AUTOMATION inc, an energy efficiency technology provider, announces
that it has been selected as prime contractor by ATK Launch Systems, a
division of Alliant Techsystems, to perform a plant-wide energy assessment
at ATK's Promontory, Utah manufacturing facility. Under this contract, P&E AUTOMATION will deploy their FacilitySurveyor hosted software to collect data on the energy-consuming systems and processes at the plant, analyze the energy savings potential, and determine energy conservation measures with a 4-year or less payback to achieve those savings. These measures are projected to save over $3 million, 96,000 MWh electricity, and 186,000 million Btu in combined fossil fuels annually. According to Deanna Bebb, President of P&E AUTOMATION.
