P&E AUTOMATION awarded multiple Federal energy efficiency projects

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb 4, 2009--

P&E AUTOMATION, INC. (“P&E”), a certified Woman Owned/HUBZone small business headquartered in San Diego, announced that it has been awarded multiple contracts to provide energy efficiency products and services at U.S. Department of Defense facilities.

P&E will provide on-site resource efficiency management services at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina. P&E will support the Depot’s energy and facilities teams and the Marine Corps’ Eastern Recruiting Region by providing energy management expertise to reduce energy consumption, increase the use of renewable energy, build personnel awareness of and involvement in energy efficiency, and reduce the carbon footprint of the Depot.

The company has also been awarded contracts to provide Advanced Metering products and services at Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma, Grand Forks Air Force Base in North Dakota and Cavalier Air Force Station also in North Dakota. The Advanced Metering initiatives will enable the Bases to implement energy efficiency measures and meet the requirements of the Energy Policy Act of 2005. These projects include installation of P&E’s own EnergyConsole energy management database offerings, and will enable Air Force personnel to track, manage, and reduce energy consumption at these bases.
