HERMAN BROWN, PHD
VP ENGINEERING

Dr. Brown brings over 25 years of experience in energy-related science and technology to P&E AUTOMATION's research and development team.

Most recently, as a management and technical consultant for BFH & Associates, he advised several large energy management customers including Energy Masters International, Alliant Techsystems, Systems Integrated, Hughes, and Raytheon.

Previously, Dr. Brown was VP and General Manager of the Small Systems Product Group at Unisys, where he built the group from scratch and established the market for mini-mainframes. His first career was in advertising, where he rose to be GM, Western Operations for the prestigious Doyle, Dane, Bernbach agency.

Dr. Brown also holds an impressive collection of awards spanning several careers: Rutherford Award, National Science Foundation (Undergrad research, Physics), Two Clio Awards for advertising, and a Cross de Legion Honour, Silver Star, Purple Heart, Bronze Star for service in Vietnam.

Currently Dr. Brown is working on new Intellectual Property on next-generation automation technologies for P&E's product line.
